About the Oakland Camera Club
Stereo photography — 3-D photography — is the marvelous craft of making pictures with the illusion of depth.
The Oakland Camera Club is a San Francisco / Bay Area organization of stereo photography enthusiasts. Join us at a club meeting to learn about the art of stereo photography and experience fantastic printed and projected 3-D photos.
The Oakland Camera Club was founded in 1934 and is a member of the Photographic Society of America. The Oakland Camera Club is a non-profit organization.
"The Art and Craft of Stereo Photography," A Presentation for the Berkeley Camera Club

The National Stereoscopic Association and Oakland Camera Club present an introduction to 3-D photography to the Berkeley Camera Club, Tuesday, March 25th, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the Northbrae Community Church (about a mile from the Albany Community Center). A stereo slideshow of the Oakland Camera Club's "best of" images from 2008 to 2013 follows the presentation. Oakland Camera Club members are welcome to attend and participate.

Congratulations 2013 Hollywood International Placeholders and Acceptances

The 2013 Hollywood International Stereo Exhibition features winners from several Oakland Camera Club members.
In the digital slide category, John Ballou received three acceptances, Jack Muzatko received two, and Mat Bergman also received two acceptances along with an Honorable Mention.
The 2013 Hollywood International also featured a card section, with John Ballou receiving three acceptances.

Oakland Camera Club stereographers are well represented in the Fifteenth Cascade International Stereoscopic Exhibition results.
John Ballou took second place, altered reality (digital section); one open digital section acceptance, and two stereo card acceptances.
Jack Muzatko took an honorable mention, altered reality (digital section), plus two open digital section acceptances.
Mat Bergman received one acceptance in the open digital section.
