About the Competitions

Each meeting includes a judged competition. Judges are invited by the Oakland Camera Club to critique and score our monthly competitions.

Members may submit up to four digital pairs for projection and up to four printed stereocards or phantograms for each competition.

Many Oakland Camera Club meetings also include a special competition that challenges members to photograph a specific subject or theme. Members may submit an additional set of up to four images for each special competition. See the special competiton schedule for details.

2012 Special Competition List

March 19, 2012	Double Competition Submit up to eight digital slides and eight cards.
April 23, 2012	Up in the Air It's a bird... It's a plane... It's March's special competition!
May 21, 2012	Clinic Mat Bergman presents specifications and suggestions for presenting 3D video at the Oakland Camera Club.
June 18, 2012	Time Warp Show a transition over time.
July 16, 2012	Pseudo Creative takes on reversed-depth stereo photos.
August 20, 2012	Outlaw Creative Anything goes, from altered reality to virtual reality. Competitors, note that the PSA only accepts photos made with a camera. Consider this if you plan to enter your image in national and international competitions.
September 17, 2012	Clinic Barrie Bieler presents methods for micro stereo photography.
October 15, 2012	Micro/Macro Micro- or macro-photography in stereo, or combine the two.
November 19, 2012	Video The Oakland Camera Club's first 3D video competition. Watch this space for specifications.

Oakland International 3D Competition & Exhibition

Each January, the Oakland Camera Club hosts the Oakland International 3D Competition, open to all stereophotographers, and presents a public exhibition of the winners. Our International Exhibition is always outstanding!
